
Our partnership with Winslow Evans & Crocker an independent broker/dealer, allows us to work collaboratively to help 401(k) and 403(b) plan fiduciaries and company sponsors fulfill their obligations in such areas as; plan design, investment policy statement, investment review and employee education.
Employer Services:
- Plan Document Review: Provide a complete review of existing retirement plan(s) features and benefits. Make recommendations to enhance plan features and to keep plan benefits competitive with the current marketplace. For start up plans create the appropriate plan design for their plan objectives. Make recommendations for alternative plan types when appropriate (Safe Harbor 401(k), Age Weighted, Social Security Integrated, New Comparability and Defined Benefit Plans).
- Product Overview: Review with employer the various 401(k) products available. Provide a complete analysis of the appropriate products including; administration services, employee communications, investment options and fees.
- Investment Analysis: Provide a thorough analysis of all plan investment options available to employees. Assess current fund offerings against alternative products to provide the appropriate selection of investment options to meet the needs and risk tolerance of the employees. Quarterly monitoring of fund performance and fund management changes, to keep companies and their participants informed of any changes that may effect their investments.
- Compliance Updates: Keep the employer informed as to changes in the rules and regulations with regard to their plan. Make recommendations on changes to plan features to keep plan in compliance with current and future ERISA legislation. Provide custom documents services.
Employee Services:
- Education Meetings: Provide on-site employee seminars covering the following:
- The importance of saving for retirement
- Their plan design features and benefits
- Investment options available and asset allocation
- Compliance and tax law changes, “How to get the most from your retirement plan”
- One-on-One: Meet with employees individually to discuss their particular situation with regard to retirement planning, investment risk tolerance and guidance on asset allocation.
- Ongoing Enrollment Support: Provide ongoing support and re-enrollment meetings on an as needed basis.
